NATIONAL CHAMPIONS CONFER

Some of the East Coast 's best outdoor track and field meets are annually staged at Princeton University's Weaver Stadium, and conferring here at the April 2 Sam Howell Memorial Meet at Princeton are two of Shore AC's newly crowned USATF National Masters Champions. 

At left is John McDonald, America's M85 200-meter king and with him is Marc Bloom, the USA gold medalist in the M75 3000-meter run,   both are well known at Princeton - John as veteran official at all Princeton home meets and famed award-winning author Marc, who has written a long array of track and running-related books and much much more, as a volunteer assistant cross country coach at Princeton High School.

Their gold medals came at the USATF Masters Indoor National Championships, March 18-19-20 at New York City's Armory Track Center.
