Race Summary From Team Captain Pro-Tem Chris Rinaldi
It was a great morning! Despite the hills…I said after the race that the name Three Bridges is inappropriate, should be called 10 Hills lol!
We literally beat the 2nd place team (Clifton Road Runners) by what in essence was a few seconds of time.
Was great to see everyone and enjoy the camaraderie of being on a team and racing.
Special kudos to Lauren Jackson who was the 3rd overall female (and 1st masters female), Kim Ancito super running to 10th overall female (and 5th masters female), Natacha Smith 6th Masters Female (and…I think first race for Shore AC and was super nice), Barbara Donelik 3rd Age Graded Female, Susan Stirrat 4th Age graded female and Reno Stirrat the 3rd Age Graded Male. Of course, our victory today would not have been possible without the super age graded running by Marc Bloom and Ken Ginsburg (his first race this year). If I was voting, breakthrough performance was by Eric Puma! And, I’m sorry that I did not meet Luana Pesco-Koplow (might have also lived closest to the race); however, Luana finished 6th in her age group and Luz Gladys Ravines (always the best smile and nicest words) was close on her heels for a 7th age group finish.
Again, a great morning.
Thank you everyone for sharing your “time”!
See you again soon.
