The 2008 Shore A. C. X-C  League Schedule:

 

 

                Saturday        September 27        Thompson Park

         STARTING TIME:  All races will start promptly at 9:00 A.M.

         Registration begins at 8:45 A.M.

 

         Race Distance:  Courses vary from 3 to 3.5 miles in length.

 

Team Competition:  Teams consist of a minimum of 7 runners. 

The 3 fastest runners on each team will be scored as "open"  runners.

 

Two Masters (40+ male or female) and 2 females will complete a team's scoring.  In addition bonus points will be awarded to two

 

50+ and two 60+ finishers on each team.  As in traditional cross country lowest score wins.

                

Awards:  Special awards will be given to the leading

male and female finishers immediately following the final race. Teams

will compete for the legendary Woodland Elf Trophy.  Awarding of these prizes will be determined by best overall performances for

                the 6 race series.

 

Entry Fee:  $6.00 per race per runner, or $30.00 per runner for the 6 race series.  Proceeds go to the SHORE ATHLETIC CLUB.
